The Center for Eating Disorders is fortunate to have all the resources of an excellent chemical dependency unit right next door at Focus Healthcare of Tennessee. Focus Healthcare, a nationally known twenty eight day chemical dependency program, is able to provide a dually diagnosed patient with integrated, individualized treatment plan that will address all co-occurring disorders.

We accept dually diagnosed patients, and are able to customize a treatment plan for anyone struggling with an eating disorder and any type of chemical dependency. Additionally, we treat patients with co-occurring mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and trauma issues.

We treat eating disorders and addictions because these disorders frequently co-occur. There are many similarities between eating disorders and addictions. Common factors that contribute to both include low self-esteem, peer pressure and a traumatic life changing event.
