Medications
It is important that you bring with you all of the prescribed medication that you take at home. Upon admission these medications must be presented to the admissions staff for review. The nursing staff will hold all medications and your physician will order the medications that are appropriate for your medical condition and current treatment plan. If during your stay your home medication requires a re-fill, Focus Healthcare medical staff will assist you with that process. Any subsequent costs/co-pay will be your financial responsibility. As a patient at Focus Healthcare, you should know what medications you take and why you take them. Medication errors are the most common health care mistakes. If you do not recognize a medication, verify with the nurse that it is for you. It is permissible for you to ask questions and express concerns with regard to your medications. We encourage you to be active participants in the medication management system. Written information is available for any medication that a patient may be taking.
