Family Program



Overview

Focus Healthcare is pleased to introduce Thomas and Thomas Consulting Group, LLC., for a monthly two and a half day family program. Therapeutic activities are scheduled all day Friday, Saturday, and until noon on Sunday. Sunday afternoon is set aside for therapeutic visitation.

Learning Objectives

Following the presentation, participants will be able to identify, utilize and explain accordingly:

  • Educate family members on the nature of the addictive process
  • Understand how the disease impacts families
  • Engage family members in interactive conjoint group process with the patients
  • Educate family members about boundaries, family roles and co-dependency issues
  • Teach healthy communication skills

The Families in Focus Program is offered monthly. Upcoming session weekends include the following:
