Focus Healthcare Objectives & Goals

  • To provide state of the art assessment and treatment for individuals with addictive disorders by providing residential care,  partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services managed by a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, counselors, nutritionists and a variety of support personnel, all contributing to the patients care.
  • To provide patient care that is honest, compassionate, and effective to assess and treat addictive disorders.
  • To make informed decisions about diagnostic and therapeutic intervention based on patient information and preference, documented scientific evidence and clinical judgment.
  • To demonstrate ethical decisions making skills in communicating with or counseling patients and their families.
  • To pursue a commitment to excellence and ongoing professional development.
  • To actively participate in appropriate (when authorized) information exchange about addiction management with patients, their families and other health care support people
  • To apply sensitivity to the culture, age, gender, orientation and disabilities of patients.
  • To demonstrate respect, integrity, and accountability while maintaining responsiveness to the needs of patients and society that super-cedes self interest.
  • To network with other health care providers and professionals to ensure positive continuation of supportive care for patients when needed.
  • To provide a knowledgeable staff in numbers sufficient to provide an appropriate level of care.
  • To provide high quality health care in a cost effective manner.
  • To provide quality management though continuous evaluation of patient care through review process.
